An exciting opportunity to see the world as part of Total's Exploration and Production (E&P) team has arisen for senior engineers with strong experience and expertise in the required discipline. Our E&P team is active in 42 countries across the globe and current opportunities offer attractive, long-term contracts in various international locations on a family or rotational basis. This stimulating role will require advanced Project Management skills as you will be responsible for delivering multi-national projects to safety, cost, schedule and technical requirements. With market demand increasing rapidly, you will play an important part in optimising the technical dossier to gain the maximum benefit from industry availability. You will manage and develop a large multi-disciplinary team of contractors based across different continents motivating different members to work diligently to reach goals and ensuring safety throughout all project phases. You will have ownership for preparing the technical package, using your skills to negotiate the best contract solution and controlling the delivery of that package through contractors. You will be an important liaison with the Subsea Production Systems Manager, maintaining critical information flow and deputising where necessary. |
Required skills
| Education |
| Will hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or Project Management Will have a high level of awareness of Health and Safety issues, along with the ability to encourage conscientiousness in others where health and safety is concerned Will be fluent in both spoken and written English |
| Experience |
| Will have a substantial level of experience of working in oil and gas Project Management, preferably within Subsea Systems |
| Skills |
| Will be an excellent negotiator Will be able to operate flexibly and sensitively in multi-cultural teams and local environments to manage the completion of local work phases. In addition, knowledge of the relevant environment and openness to new construction methods is an advantage Will be able and keen to travel the World and live in a variety of countries Will be eager to develop your career in one of the biggest and most progressive Oil & Gas companies in the World |
