An exciting opportunity to see the world as part of Total's Exploration and Production (E&P) team has arisen for senior engineers with strong experience and expertise in the required discipline. Our E&P team is active in 42 countries across the globe and current opportunities offer attractive, long-term contracts in various international locations on a family or rotational basis.

With market demand increasing rapidly, you will play an important part in optimising the technical solutions to gain the maximum benefit from the global subsea industry.
You will be working with advanced subsea systems with TOTAL being one of the leaders in the world in deploying new subsea technology. You will :
Manage service level agreements relating to ROVs, ensuring adequate health & safety provisions have been made.
Plan and organise ROV activities and monitor the tools being used in subsea interventions, including the preparation of internal planning documents.
Supervise ROV operations, ensuring optimal performance by the team involved and evaluate the performance of ROV activities and prepare reports on these.
Provide technical support to other parts of the organisation using ROVs, including anticipating problems and proposing solutions.
Test and monitor the receipt of ROVs and related equipment, ensuring that they meet specifications.
Keep abreast of technological developments within your field of expertise and use this to perform continuous follow-up of underwater activities.
As a result of significant growth in deep water offshore exploration, this will be a critical role within Total E&P involving considerable interaction with external service providers and providing you with an opportunity to demonstrate and further develop your expertise in ROV's.


Required skills

Education
Will have Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline
Will have a high level of awareness of Health and Safety issues, along with the ability to encourage conscientiousness in others where health and safety is concerned
Will be an fluent in both spoken and written English, French is a benefit
Experience
Will have minimum 7-10 years of experience working with ROV's/ROV operations
Skills
Will have strong interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written
Will be able to operate flexibly and sensitively in multi-cultural teams and local environments to manage the completion of local work phases. In addition, knowledge of the relevant environment and openness to new construction methods is an advantage
Will be able and keen to travel the World and live in a variety of countries
Will be eager to develop your career in one of the biggest and most progressive Oil & Gas companies in the World
