An exciting opportunity to see the world as part of Total's Exploration and Production (E&P) team has arisen for senior engineers with strong experience and expertise in the required discipline. Our E&P team is active in 42 countries across the globe and current opportunities offer attractive, long-term contracts in various international locations on a family or rotational basis.

As Maintenance Mechanical Senior Engineer you will have to:
Coordinates maintenance activities in a team typically 6-7 persons.
Within the Mechanical Department, be in charge of the Operations follow-up, rotating machines overhaul follow-up, and provide technical advice on Request for Modifications, reliability studies encompassing all aspect of the Operations.
Ensure all transverse aspects and relations with other Departments are taken car off.
Will be involved in the preparation of the overall Maintenance Policy for the affiliate and ensures that the detailed preventive and predictive maintenance work programmes are executed in line with the Policy.
Prepare major overhauls for critical equipments across the Operation of the Affiliate. Ensure sufficient manpower is mobilized not only on the Contractor side but also for the internal resources.
Provide a support to the Site during major machine upsets.
Will be involved in the audit of mechanical equipment available on site.
Optimize maintenance plans, Define the spare parts stocks levels,
Prepare the Budget program and associated actions: problems identification, offers solutions, plans and supervises the execution, closes the works and ensures the ¿back to service ¿status while complying with the Total's rules, the costs and planning.
Follows the technological evolution of the discipline and approves the maintenance and the update of the technical documentation. Ensures that TOTAL HQ rules and local affiliate rules are complied with.


Required skills

Education
Will be holder of Chartered Engineer (A-levels + 5 years' study) or Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND/HNC (A-levels + 3 years' study) or BTS/DUT or equivalent.
Will have a knowledge of the principles related to the process and equipment of oil and gas treatment installations.
Will have a high level of awareness of Health and Safety issues and be able to encourage good practice in others.
Will be fluent in both spoken and written English.
Experience
Will have 10 years' experience in the field of maintenance on oil installations.
Will have a specific professional experience : turbo-machinery experience (heavy duty or aeroderivative turbo-machinery): Fr5, LM2500, RB211, SOLAR all models and gas compressors knowledge (Thermodyn, Nuevo-Pignone, Solar, Siemens..) and water pumps (Sulzer, Flowserve¿).
Will have a proven sense of responsibility and some people management experience and the ability to motivate, inspire and lead multi-disciplinary teams.
Skills
Will have the ability to lead and motivate multinational teams and to work independently while maintaining good relations with colleagues and others.
Will be physical able to work on <> installations in the climatic conditions of the site.
Will be adept at working collaborating and proactively sharing information and expertise with your colleagues.
Will be able to operate flexibly and sensitively in multi-cultural teams and local environments.
Will be able and keen to travel the World and work in a variety of countries.
