Job Description

He/she is the main responsible of the respect of HSE Rules and Company Specifications for his activity (in particular in term of Quality assurance & Quality Control)
The Head of Piping and Structure Maintenance Works is in charge to manage activities which can be summarized as follow on a assets (onshore and offshore):
- Piping and structure works limited to like for like replacement
- Painting touch up and campaign
- Insulation removal, reassembly, replacement
- Assistance to operation for spading and piping auxiliaries replacement, pressure test ...
- Opening, cleaning and closing of vessels and heat exchangers
- Scaffolding design, erection and dismantling
- Rope access assistance

For these activities, he/she will:
- manage the resources under his responsibility (5 to 10 Total staff)
- participate to the definition of the maintenance policy and strategy including his activities
- prepare, the Scope of Works in connection with the installations, and others associated documents required to launch the different Call for Tender
- evaluate of the potentials Contractors and prepare the recommendation to award the contracts
- place the external contracts (after Partners and Management agreement)
- manage these contracts and follow the contractors

- prepare and follow the budgets related to his activity
- participate to the planning preparation, validate and follow the scheduled works for his activity
- manage the interfaces
- ensure tracking of activities (preparation, performance, results) and prepare the relevant reporting
- verify that the QA/QC systems and means are in place, followed and respected
- organize and follow logistics between onshore base and worksites
- participate to the different meetings
- participate to the audits
- create, upgrade, and optimize the stock of materials and consumables linked to his activity
- ensure that the Maintenance Management System (SAP) is correctly populated and used
- ensure that the relevant documentation is supplied following needs and correctly archived

He/she reports directly to the Maintenance Manager of the affiliate.


Required skills

Education
Will have a high level of awareness of Health and Safety issues and be able to encourage good practice in others
Will be holder of Chartered Engineer (A-levels + 3 years study or more) or confirmed/experienced technician
Will be fluent in both spoken and written English
Will have an Engineering expertise in project/construction activities
Will have a good general computer knowledge
Will have good knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System (SAP or equivalent)
Experience
Will have 10-15 years experience in construction activities in industrial oil & gas context and project management
Will have a significant experience in CMIMS (SAP knowledge is an advantage)
Skills
Will be able to lead and motivate multinational teams and to work independently while maintaining good relations with colleagues and others
Will be physical able to work on "offshore" installations in the climatic conditions of the site
Will be adept at working collaborating and proactively sharing information and expertise with your colleagues
Will be able to communicate and operate flexibly and sensitively in multi-cultural teams and local environments
Will be able and keen to travel the World and work in a variety of countries
Will be eager to develop your career in one of the biggest and most progressive Oil & Gas companies in the World
