Description
The Cluster DP lead is responsible for managing the whole E2E Demand Planning process and teams (around 15 people in Mass, Pharma and Item Master Data (ILM and Dijon)) and leading the S&OP process for Johnson & Johnson Santé Beauté France. In this critical position between the French business teams and the regional DP teams, he is responsible for achieving all the targeted results in a way that drives continuous improvement.
1 ) Managing the Demand planning leg team – Responsibilities
- Contribute as a leader to the cluster supply chain leadership team
- Build up sufficient knowledge on other supply chain functions (customer service, Hub operations) to get the right general knowledge of the French Business
- Structure the teams in the best way to make sure functions are clear and described and processes are aligned, efficient, documented and properly embedded in the organization.
- Challenge the teams on their results, motivate them
- Help the teams identify, build and implement personal development in their job and for their career paths, through appropriate coaching, support and training
- Set up the proper reporting structures with the teams to ensure the right operational information is escalated and to ensure the roadmap and the local and regional priorities are clear and rolled out
2 ) Leading the S&OP process – Responsibilities
- Build up in-depth knowledge of the markets, products, flows, events, NPI’s and tendencies to be a credible interlocutor internally and with the region on forecasting and S&OP
- Build up in-depth knowledge of the products, master data, master data processes and interdependencies to be a credible interlocutor internally on Item Master Data Management
- Build up sufficient knowledge on other supply chain functions (customer service, Hub operations) to get the right general knowledge of the French Business
- Ensure that the regional monthly S&OP process is fully known and implemented by the local demand planning team, and gets the expected level of involvement and empowerment from all key stakeholders
- Ensure proper preparation of S&OP meetings and process, sign-off of monthly sales forecasts, and proper reporting
- Ensure reporting and communication of key cycle information to the JJSBF board
- Become the point of contact for the regional Pre-S&OP, gather information from the teams and report on a monthly basis
3 ) Achieving targeted results – Responsibilities :
- Own the existing KPI’s and develop new if needed. Work on continuous improvement of these KPI’s, deploying regional dashboards and reporting, and contributing to the improvement and evolution of this regional template
- Propose targets on major KPIs of the scorecard, and participate to the target setting.
- Ensure that targets are met for all major KPIs
- As a shared responsibility with regional supply planning team, ensure that targets on inventory and product availability (monitored through OOS / BSS, alerts and OTIF with supply/demand issues reason codes) are met.
Major KPI’s : MAPE, BIAS, Inventory (net value and DOI), OOS, SLOB,…
4 ) Driving Continuous Improvement - Responsibilities
- Develop a roadmap for continuous improvement and set the right priorities. This roadmap needs to be supported by the Regional CoE, Supply Chain Director and JJSBF board, communicated with the teams and stakeholders and monitored on a regular basis.
- Continuously question existing structures, tools, methods and processes. Look for best practices in the region to assure the most efficient and effective processes are in place.
- Align with the GPex in zug to make sure processes are compliant with regional standards
- Make sure the French Cluster keeps its leading position in DP and S&OP within the EMEA region
Qualifications
- Degree level with strong mathematical/analytical/commercial/technical bias
- Planning experience, commercial analysis experience
- Focus on new ways of meeting goals, make changes to produce an improvement to the working practise
- Take on challenges, ability to think ahead, work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Team player, build relationships quickly, motivator, networker within the local and the regional teams
- SAP user, MS Office
- Supply Chain degrees are a plus (MBA, CPIM, MSC)
