GENERAL SUMMARY Responsible for the identification, positioning and sale of ISC services. The Director engages EMC sales leadership to successfully develop and close sales campaigns for ISC services. Responsible for identifying and pursuing sales leads, identifying professional services opportunities and maintaining a robust pipeline of professional services targets at assigned accounts. Liaison between EMC sales leadership and ISC delivery. Responsible for developing a trusted advisor status with clients. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Define ISC sales targets for assigned accounts Manage to assigned sales, revenue and margin targets for region, including "cost of sales" expense management Follow up on early leads and develop strong relationships with the Sales team in order to build and continuously maintain the ISC pipeline, backlog and forecast Assists Sales Account Executive in driving solutions lead sales to solve customers storage problems Drive business development and pre-sales initiatives at assigned clients leveraging industry/technical background to create storage consulting solutions Leverage existing sales processes, clients and relationships to sell all storage consulting offerings Work closely with the customer to identify current and future enterprise storage infrastructure requirements Work with ISC Market Development and Delivery to ensure consistent, predictable and scalable delivery of services For assigned region, identify and direct all EMC business development opportunities Ensure appropriate sales generation targets and revenue targets are achieved (sales targets, sales growth, client satisfaction, etc.) Understand appropriate offering and industry sales growth & strategic growth objectives for ISC in the region SKILLS Possesses strong product/technology/industry knowledge.
