An exciting opportunity to see the world as part of Total's Exploration and Production (E&P) team has arisen for senior engineers with strong experience and expertise in the required discipline. Our E&P team is active in 42 countries across the globe and current opportunities offer attractive, long-term contracts in various international locations on a family or rotational basis.

With market demand increasing rapidly, you will play an important part in optimising the technical solutions to gain the maximum benefit from the global subsea industry.
This stimulating role will require advanced Subsea experience and skills related to design and fabrication of subsea structures (subsea processing systems, manifolds, templates, foundation systems etc) as you will be working with advanced subsea systems with TOTAL being one of the leaders in the world in deploying new subsea technology.

You will work with subsea pre-project/Front End Engineering & Development studies; you will give support to subsea projects and support technology development, and you will support operating assets. You will be providing technical expertise and team-oriented interpersonal skills to technically challenging deepwater subsea activities globally.

Typical work tasks:
Provide assistance to R&D programs, execute technology development programs
Development and management of technical standards and specifications for subsea manifolds, templates and other subsea structures
Support project design reviews
Technical System support during the execution phase of projects
Technical support to operating assets and affiliates
Act as technical authority responsible for subsea structures


Required skills

Education
Will have Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline
Will have a high level of awareness of Health and Safety issues, along with the ability to encourage conscientiousness in others where health and safety is concerned
Will be an fluent in both spoken and written English, French is a benefit
Experience
Will have minimum 7-10 years of experience working with Subsea Structures
Will have worked for an operating company or a major supplier/contractor
Skills
Will have strong interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written
Will be able to operate flexibly and sensitively in multi-cultural teams and local environments to manage the completion of local work phases. In addition, knowledge of the relevant environment and openness to new construction methods is an advantage
Will be able and keen to travel the World and live in a variety of countries
Will be eager to develop your career in one of the biggest and most progressive Oil & Gas companies in the World
