An exciting opportunity to see the world as part of Total's Exploration and Production (E&P) team has arisen for senior engineers with strong experience and expertise in the required discipline. Our E&P team is active in 42 countries across the globe and current opportunities offer attractive, long-term contracts in various international locations on a family or rotational basis. Working as part of a team for oil and gas development you will be involved in formulating and organising sophisticated project strategies the success of which will have significant effects globally. Your role will be varied and include effective planning and management of resource, skills and budget for timely delivery of all projects. You will manage and be accountable for one or several packages within a construction project. You will be responsible for your own team, building strong relationships with a diverse range of people, motivating individuals, setting goals and ensuring the team meet them. As well as managing your own people you will be required to oversee a wide range of contractors and suppliers, ensuring that contractual commitments are fulfilled and best practice is shared across teams. You will play a key role in setting up the company supervision. You will manage interfaces between all project parties and disciplines and implement an efficient hand over with the operations teams. Required skills Education Will hold an MSc, or equivalent, qualification in Engineering or project management. Will have a high level of awareness of Health and Safety issues, along with the ability to encourage conscientiousness in others where health and safety is concerned. Will be fluent in both spoken and written English and have full international mobility. Experience Will have a substantial level of experience of working in the oil and gas industry, preferably within Exploration and Production. Will have experience in management of projects above $200m. May have experience of LNG plants, deep offshore installations or heavy oil mining developments although this is not essential.
